Marsh Global Consumer is fully committed to the principle of transparency in our service to you. Unlike others in the educational marketplace, our business stands entirely independent of insurance companies and provider networks, to ensure your institution is presented with the appropriate insurers and providers for the types of products and coverages you require. We then negotiate with those providers on your behalf to obtain coverage at a competitive price.

It is our goal to lead the industry in our commitment to the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior. In this effort, we will fully disclose any compensation paid or payable to Marsh by insurers. We will advise you of the specifics of all quotes and premium indications we receive from insurers on your behalf.

We have also established a toll-free “Insurer Compensation Line”: (800) 420-5082 to receive any concerns or complaints regarding our compensation arrangements. Outside the United States and Canada please use your country’s AT&T access number found at www.usa.att.com/traveler, plus 420-5082.

Further, it is our practice to inform clients and prospective clients of (1) equity interests of MMC and its subsidiaries in insurers and (2) insurers contractual arrangements between MMC and its subsidiaries, and insurers and wholesalers. With a clear understanding of how much you are paying us and what you are paying us to do, we facilitate and welcome your review of all aspects of our service to you. We are not obligated to any specific insurer. We simply survey the insurance market for the best benefits and features matching your needs with the best the market has to offer. We put the extensive product expertise and experience of Marsh to work for you by designing and implementing a plan to meet the objectives of your institution.

If a wholesale broker is involved in the transaction, we will disclose the name of the wholesaler, the amount of wholesale commission, any interest in a relationship to the wholesaler that Marsh may have, and the alternatives to using the wholesaler.
